There’s nothing more wholesome this time of year than a hot drink and pretty much anything with frosting – chef Sarah Wade adds a bit of gingerbread and a bunch of gumdrops for a couple of fabulous DIY holiday happenings. Sign up for either of two Gingerbread House Decorating workshops (at Sloane’s on Saturday, December 16th, or at Stillwater on Sunday, December 17th) and satisfy that love for cottagecore as you DYO (decorate your own) little cookie villa.
Tickets are just $40 each, which includes all the materials you’ll need to make the cutest little centerpiece you ever did see, plus you’ll get your choice of one Spiced Rum Eggnog or a Housemade Mulled Wine to sip while you work, and of course there will be Christmas cookies for munching. There are two sessions (11:00am and 2:00pm) for each class so you’ll have plenty of time to pull off the perfect design.
