Do Patriot’s Day the Colonial Way

Menotomy Grill & Tavern Facebook

Patriot’s Day isn’t just about the Marathon, it’s a holiday that commemorates battles of Lexington, Concord and Menotomy (now present day Arlington) in 1775 that were the start of the Revolutionary War, and any true patriot should head to A-Town on Monday, April 15th to raise a pint in remembrance. The Menotomy Grill & Tavern and Arlington Brewing Company will be harkening back to colonial life this year with a special Beer Hall from 12:30 to 5:30 at Robbins Memorial Town Hall, including food, ABC drafts, and live music from Morningside Music Studio (1:00 to 3:00pm) and Grüvmeiners (3:00 to 5:00pm). The beer hall is family friendly and no tickets are required, so pack up the kids and have a whole day out — it’s the perfect excuse to drink a beer on a Monday afternoon. The town has a lot of other fun events happening all week, too, which you can check out here, and be sure to keep an eye on Menotomy’s Instagram and Facebook for any updates before the big day.
