Coinneach Macleod Is Coming to the Seaport

East End Books/Eventbrite

East End Books is about to become a permanent fixture in the city following their successful 2022 pop-up, and they have the perfect event to celebrate their grand opening as they welcome chef and author Coinneach Macleod on Sunday, March 11th, to kick off his tour of North America for the new cookbook The Hebridean Baker: My Scottish Island Kitchen.

The newest Boston bookstore, located on Pier Four, is an offshoot of the beloved shop in Provincetown owned by Jeff Peters, and will feature a curated collection of books in print, e-books, audiobooks, vinyl albums, niche magazines, special events, collaborations with non-profits, tea from Captain’s Daughters in Provincetown, Kohi coffee, wine, and eventually tapas from their neighbors next door, Woods Hill Pier 4.

Grab a ticket here and head to the Seaport for the soirée from 6:00 to 10:00pm featuring a reading, conversation and book signing, plus there will be kilts and maybe even some Scottish singing. You’ll get to snack on passed hors d’oeuvres from chef Charles Foster and his team, and graze on a well-appointed raw bar, cheese and charcuterie, plus there will be plenty of lovely libations from the Woods Hill bar team. Tickets range from $5 for a virtual visit to $1,000 for two tickets with the presentation, food, drinks and signed books included. Check out East End Books on IG or give the Boston location a like on FB, and give the restaurant a call at 617.981.4577 if you have Qs.
