Guillermo Guzman

Chef Guillermo Guzman, previously the Executive Chef at Pellana Steakhouse in Peabody, is now the Chef de Cuisine at the Tip Tap Room on Beacon Hill. 

Guzman brings more than two decades of experience to the Tip Tap Room kitchen, having come up through the ranks in kitchens like Finz in Salem, Joe’s American Bar and Grill in Peabody and Not Your Average Joe’s in Beverly. 

He brings his experiences working with American, Italian, Asian, Mexican, seafood and steakhouse cuisines to complement chef-owner Brian Poe’s inventive takes on traditional classics at the Beacon Hill neighborhood staple. 

Guzman oversees the kitchen staff and works closely with Poe to create new specials and put his own unique spin on Tip Tap classics. He’s already introduced new signature items to the menu including a Roasted Tomato Basil Soup with fried grilled cheese and tomato confit; and Blackened Shrimp Risotto with Cajun spiced blackened shrimp, arugula, bell pepper & butter risotto with parmesan.
