Governor Charlie Baker has signed a bill allowing restaurants to sell mixed drinks to-go…finally! There are, of course, rules — bevvies must be sold in sealed containers and can only be purchased with food in limited quantities before midnight. You can read the whole bill here to get all the details if you are so inclined but the general gist is this: you can soon be sipping your favorite craft cocktails from the comfort of home. Here are a bunch of tantalizing to-go cocktails that are already available for take-out. Pick your poison and place your order asap.
In the mood for Northern Italian eats from Davio's? Don't forget the drinks. The iconic Back Bay steakhouse has cocktails designed to accompany your meal whether you go for housemade pastas, prime aged steaks, super fresh seafood or their signature spring rolls.
Five of the different Davio's locations are now offering cocktails for take-out. Look for signature sippers like the sunny Mediterraneo (Ketel One Vodka, Ketel Oranje, Cointreau, blood orange purée and lemon) as well as specials specific to each location, dreamed up by their on-site teams including Spiked Lemonade, Blackberry Margaritas and Island Dreams at Davio's Braintree.

But if you're ordering from the Seaport specifically, go for the Terminal C (Casamigos Reposado Tequila, agave, lime, pineapple and nutmeg, which is only available from this swanky harborside spot.
The teams at Barbara Lynch’s Drink, The Butcher Shop & Sportello have pooled their efforts on a mini menu of to-go cocktails featuring rums from Plantation’s portfolio. Available at $26 per 12 oz bottle, the offerings include Mai Tais, Strawberry Daiquiris, Pina Coladas, The Miami Vice and the No. 9 Palmyra (no rum in that last one). Take your pick and place your order.
Whether you're ordering a heaping bowl of pasta or a dainty plate of antipasti, you're going to want a drink to go with it. The Eataly peeps are happy to oblige with bottled versions of their go-to beverages so you can have a negroni to go with your cacio e pepe or a martini to pair with your tiramisu.
The bar team at Fat Baby is starting the era of to-go cocktails with a couple signature sippers: the Mai Tai (rum, triple sec, orgeat and angostura) and the Cry Baby (Ghost Tequila, lime, hibiscus and elderflower). Keep an eye out for more.
This little lovely — the Spruce Lightning, made with tequila, spruce syrup, passion fruit nectar, braulio, lemon and cedar saltis — is just an example of the kinds of thoughtful craft cocktails you can now order to-go from the folks at Forage.
Next time you're picking up take-out from Davis Square.'s Foundry on Elm, don't forget the drinks. The Somerville spot has added mixed bevvies to their offerings so you can be sipping pretty at home with your favorite cocktails.
