Row 34 Cambridge brings chef Jeremy Sewall and partner Shore Gregory’s stylish and sophisticated vibes, and of course all the fish and shellfish, to Kendall Square. The fourth installment of the successful oyster empire is casual enough for jeans on a weeknight and upscale enough for toasting a special occasion.

Expect to find all the seafood-y faves from their locations in Fort Point, Burlington and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, plus plenty of new additions that will make 324 Main Street all its own. In addition to the all-important raw bar, shellfish towers and fan-favorite lobster rolls, the menu is a great mix of new and classic Row flavors. Fans of their other locations know that craft beer is a big part of the experience, and you won’t be disappointed with beer director Suzy Hays‘ selection of regional pours and hard-to-find bottles, plus spirits director Brian Callahan (Big Heart Hospitality, Coquette) has a fresh, fun lineup of modern cocktails to get the oyster party started.

The dining room features plenty of seating in the sleek, 7,000-square-foot loft-like space that includes a 105-seat dining room, a 20-seat bar, and a 40-seat seasonal patio. The rooms are decorated with black and white ocean photographs from Cape Cod with an overlay of ocean-inspired patterns connecting to New England’s fishing community, plus there’s a custom mural by Dominican-American artist Silvia Lopez Chavez set off by half-dome warehouse lights that mimic oyster cages and a 32 by 15-foot light installation of galvanized steel oyster sorters.
