NEBO co-owners and chefs Carla and Christine Pallotta originally got the idea to open a restaurant when their parents moved to Florida for the winters and they found themselves longing for their mother's cooking. With no previous restaurant experience, the two opened the original North End location of NEBO (which stands for North End Boston) in June 2005. Eight years later, the Pallotta sisters set their sights on the perfect space at Atlantic Wharf, and began building the restaurant of their dreams, opening on the Greenway in June 2013.

Bringing a little bit of the North End to the Waterfront, NEBO (which now stands for North End Brought Over) serves a menu made from the freshest ingredients purchased from family-run businesses in the North End. Each and every item at NEBO – from the hand-rolled pasta to the antipasti – embodies the restaurant’s motto: simplicity demands the finest ingredients.

With soaring floor-to-ceiling windows providing 180-degree views of the Rose Kennedy Greenway, NEBO is like a serene and sophisticated oasis. The timeless and world-class design exudes discreet elegance through touches like marble tile, an alabaster chandelier, a vaulted brick ceiling, and an Italian marble bar. The bar area includes four communal tables and a drink rail overlooking the Greenway and the restaurant’s 65-seat patio.
