A well-loved destination for more than two decades, La Casa de Pedro brings its particular (and popular) brand of Latin American fare to Watertown. Inspired by chef-owner Pedro Alarcón’s heritage, the menu is filled with traditional favorites (and more than a few family recipes), prepared with the same degree of care, attention and love that Alarcón recalls from his youth in Venezuela.
Lively and fun, the spacious restaurant is reminiscent of a Spanish hacienda. Lifelike palm trees transport guests to a beachy locale. Complete with brick-adorned archways, vibrant folk art paintings, hand-painted tiles, and light fixtures made from brightly colored recycled bottles from Mexico – La Casa de Pedro greets every guest with warmth and hospitality.
The cocktail program uses fresh fruit purees, herbs and garnishes in a variety of margaritas, mojitos, sangrias, martinis and specialty concoctions including the caipirinha and pisco sour. The beer selection showcases a line-up of rotating craft, draft and bottled beers.
Open for weekend brunch, lunch and dinner nightly, La Casa de Pedro offers an ideal locale for any outing. Ample bar seating and an al fresco dining are (weather permitting, of course) can accommodate any group and any occasion.
