Rowley's Grove at Briar Barn Inn brings you farm-to-table fare inside an actual farmhouse. Situated on a few picturesque acres in Rowley, the post-and-beam barn brings you the freshest meat and produce available from a number of working Massachusetts farms in a warm, elegant atmosphere that glows with farmhouse chic.
The Menu at Grove serves classic New England fare inspired by the seasons and what’s locally available for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Expect to find words like “local” and “house-made” featured in nearly every description, from breads to burgers, in comfortingly familiar dishes prepared with refined techniques.
The room, like the menu, is equal parts cozy and fancy. Unfinished beams crisscross the ceilings over linenless farm tables and reclaimed hardwood floors. Warm filament bulbs glow inside wrought iron and blown glass fixtures, and the mirrored back bar reflects the light from enormous windows that overlook the patio and the Briar Barn Inn’s gorgeous property. If you’re lucky enough to dine during a storm you’ll be treated to the sound of the rain on the barn’s custom tin roof.
Each menu at the Grove, from brunch to dinner, features a list of beverages designed to accompany your meal. From fresh-squeezed juices at breakfast to custom cocktails for brunch, lunch, and dinner, there’s a home-made libation to suit every palate. Craft beers keep the local flame burning at the bar, and the wine list focuses mostly on New World producers, with a smattering of global offerings that prize small-production operations.
Grove at Briar Barn Inn offers two bars, private dining spaces, and a large outdoor patio six days a week from Tuesday through Sunday.
