Extra Virgin Olive Oil. That’s what the acronym EVOO stands for. In the Boston culinary community, of course, it's also a name unto itself, representing the much-lauded restaurant opened originally in Somerville in 1998 by chef Peter McCarthy and his business partner and wife, Colleen. The duo moved their award-winning operation to Cambridge in March 0f 2010.
Now located in the heart of Kendall Square, EVOO is proud to be a LEED Gold Certified Restaurant. They work closely with local farms and changs menu items daily based on available local ingredients. They even have their own rooftop garden.
The restaurant, which also offers seasonal outdoor dining and three private dining rooms, was recently named to the Good Food 100 Restaurants List.
