Benedetto, the second restaurant from the chef-owner Michael Pagliarini and the team behind Giulia, takes Cambridge diners on an exciting journey into the diverse and irresistible regions of Italy. The seasonal menu combines the very best specialty ingredients with the best of the best from local purveyors. Inspired by the honesty and wisdom of traditional Italian regional cooking, the culinary team takes their responsibility as interpreters and caretakers of these great traditions seriously, in both the kitchen and the dining room.
Designed by architect Paul Bentel, Benedetto’s dining room draws inspiration from the rural sophistication of Umbria even as floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the heart of bustling Harvard Square. Benedetto boasts two private dining rooms and a twelve-foot long, custom-designed Pasta Table which doubles as a work table by day (where the team makes hand crafted pastas from the finest stone milled and Italian specialty flours) and a chef’s table by night (where guests can enjoy an evening-long culinary journey curated by the culinary team.
