Saloon Turns Up the Heat

Escape to Mexico for one night as Saloon crafts an entire evening around tequila’s smokier cousin, Mezcal. On Thursday, February 28th the subterranean Davis Square eatery will devote one of their private dining spaces to three cocktails from Beverage Director Manny Gonzales and three small plates from chef Derek Clough. If the spicy shrimp tostadas, carnitas and chorizo rellenos, and almond cajeta flan don’t make you forget about the three feet of snow outside, the cocktails certainly will.
