Get Boozy at the Beagle

Throw a drink in the face of Prohibition at The Regal Beagle on Sunday, January 20th. The Coolidge Corner restaurant, with a little help from their friends at Union Park Press and Brookline Booksmith, is throwing a party dedicated to drinking – simply because they can. Author of Drinking Boston: A History of the City and Its Spirits, Stephanie Schorow, will be there to give a tippling primer while guests sip on cocktails made from the decidedly un-bathtub-gin-ish Bully Boy portfolio of booze (rum, whiskey and vodka) and nosh on passed apps from chef Michael Navarrette. Tickets, available online, cost $35 in advance and $40 at the door – which opens at 7:00pm. Get yours today and party like you’re glad it’s not 1920.
