A mix of good news and bad news for folks in The Fenway: Chef Douglass Williams and business partner Seth Gerber have plans to open a fourth MIDA this October, so get ready for piles of handmade pastas, antipasti, and arancini (not to mention a killer wine list) in the baseball post season. The bad news is that the newest location will be taking over space in the Pierce Building on Boylston Street from Williams’ other concept, DW French. The French-inspired brassiere had its last service on Sunday, August 18th.
“DW French will always hold a special place in our hearts,” said Williams. “At the same time, we are thrilled to bring MIDA to The Fenway and are excited for our local community and the many visitors to the neighborhood to experience MIDA’s menu, which draws inspiration from the various regions of Italy and the simplicity of classic Italian cooking.”
Keep an eye on MIDA’s Instagram for updates on progress on the new location, and bookmark their website to be the first to see the new menus when they’re ready.
