Elevate eggs and bacon into an afternoon experience at Il Casale in Lexington on Sundays at their new Live Jazz Brunch. Starting on Sunday, August 3rd, you can catch guitarist Ethan Kaczowka and a cast of local guest musicians playing a vast catalog of jazz standards, bossa nova, and popular classics from the sixties and seventies as you dig into a plate of chef Dante de Magistris’ Italian-inspired eats. Brunch is served from 12:00 to 2:30pm, which is plenty of time to sleep in before be bopping over to Lexington Center for a Caprese Omelet with tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, or eggs in purgatory which includes three eggs poached in spicy tomato sauce served over angel hair pasta with garlic, basil and grilled pugliese bread.
