If you’ve been waiting patiently for Burro Bar Brookline to reopen after renovations, you’re in for a fun surprise because not only has the space nearly doubled in size, it’s grown into a full-on Painted Burro. Head to 1665 Beacon Street to check out the new space, with even more signature turquoise seating, gold-tone accents, and most importantly tons more space at the huge marble-topped bar. They’ve also got some fresh new menus and lower prices, including half priced appetizers and $5 tacos throughout the restaurant (not just the bar) during happy hour every Monday through Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00pm.
Make a stop at Washington Square to say hello and get a look at the new digs; they’re open Monday through Thursday from 5:00 to 11:00pm, Friday 5:00pm to 12:00am, Saturday and Sunday for their famous bottomless brunch from 10:00am to 3:00pm, and dinner from 4:00pm to 12:00am (Saturday) and 11:00pm (Sunday). That’s plenty of time to work your way through the margarita list and try out all the newest tacos.
