Now that spooky season is in the rearview it’s time to kick it into high gear for pie season at Community Servings’ annual Pie in the Sky Fundraiser. The nonprofit organization that provides medically tailored meals and nutrition counseling services to folks in need is aiming for $1 million dollars for this year’s fundraising goal, and all you need to do to help them get there is order a few pies for Thanksgiving. Each year more than 50 of your favorite restaurants and bakeries come together to bake up mass quantities of pie to help raise funds for Community Servings, including Bistro du Midi, the Big Heart Hospitality Group (Sweet Cheeks Q, Tenderoni’s), Columbus Hospitality Group (Mooo…., Mistral, Ostra, Sorellina), Davio’s, Flour, Grill 23, Mamaleh’s, OAK Long Bar + Kitchen, Stillwater, and more. That money will go directly toward making and distributing healing meals to critically ill neighbors in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. It’s a great cause and you won’t have to worry about baking any pie for the holiday — a major win/win.

Choose an apple, pumpkin or pecan pie for $35 each on the online ordering page here, and you’ll be prompted to select your pickup site. Then you can swing by your pickup site on Tuesday, November 21st to get the goods ahead of turkey day. If you want to add a little something extra, you can also add an America’s Test Kitchen (ATK) “Bakers Bundle,” which will get you one pie of each flavor, a choice of two ATK cookbooks, and a tote bag.
