The lovely folks at Kings Dining & Entertainment are hosting a fundraiser for their friends at Hidden Boston, a buzzy restaurant blog and longtime supporter of local restaurants. Get a crew together before the end of the month and head for the Boston-area location of your choice to bowl a few frames and have a few drinks – $2 from every purchase of their specialty Negroni (made with Boston Harbor Distillery Harborside Gin, Aperol and sweet vermouth) will be donated to Hidden Boston founder Marc Hurwitz and his father Leslie, who’s been dealing with some health issues and mounting medical expenses. It’s an easy way to do some good while you enjoy a night out and a great excuse to order another round. Scope out the various outposts (Back Bay, Seaport, Burlington, Dedham or Lynnfield) to find the closest one and just be sure to get out there by October 31st to do your part. You can also make a donation through their GoFundMe page too if you’re not into bowling or negronis or just want to support a cause.
