Boston cocktail lovers may already know Freidus from his time at Eastern Standard and as the award-winning bar director at Cambridge’s Alden & Harlow and Waypoint, as well as time spent at Ledger in Salem, Bar Volpe, and Contessa.

Freidus had originally planned to open Good Company sometime in 2020 — even signing a lease on a different space — only to be sidelined by the pandemic, so this news is extra exciting (if a little long overdue).
