All brunch trains lead to Kenmore Square now that Pescador Coastal Grill and Blue Ribbon Sushi at the Hotel Commonwealth are open for brunch and lunch.

Starting Saturday, April 1st, you can fill up on Latin-inspired brunch bites at Pescador where the menu includes Chilaquiles (Blue Corn Tortillas, Mexican Crema, Cotija, Onion, Avocado, and Red or Green Sauce), Avocado Tostada (Bayo Beans, Grilled Corn, Cotija, Pickled Jalapeño, Cilantro, Crema), and Carla’s Breakfast Taquitos (build-your-own style with Scrambled Eggs, Anaheim Chile, Jamon, Salsa Macha, Avocado, & Flour Tortillas). And since it’s the weekend, why not wash it down with a morada sour or caipirinha? You could also build your own paloma or try a classic bloody or mimosa. If you’re feeling more in the mood for a little sashimi or nigiri, Blue Ribbon Sushi right next door is now open Saturday and Sunday starting at 12:00pm for lunch. The full menu is available, so you can (literally) pre-game before seeing the Sox at Fenway with some cauliflower tempura, Blue Ribbon fried chicken wings, and toro tartare. There’s no sake at the ballpark so get your sips in from their extensive list, or indulge in a pour of Japanese whisky and a tall can of Sapporo.
