Week-Long Derry Girls Pop-Up

Noir

The peeps at Noir are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with Now Entering Free Derry, a weeklong pop-up in tribute to Derry Girls, the coming-of-age television show about life in Northern Ireland at the tail end of The Troubles. Pop over to Harvard Square after 4:00pm from Monday, March 13th through Saturday, March 18th to enjoy 90s era tunes (think: The Cranberries and The Corrs) while you sip on cocktails from General Manager Augusto Lino (including The Good Friday Agreement, Friends Across Barricades, Sauntering Around Belfast and Jenny Joyce’s Party Spritz). There’ll be a la carte nibblies like Corned Beef Sliders, Shamrock Mousse Cake and Aged Cheddar Fondue so you won’t go hungry. Costumes are not required but if you’ve got some pre-aughts attire handy (or a Fatboy Slim t-shirt kicking around), why not? Reservations are also not required but you can call 617. 661.8010 if you’ve got Qs.

Scope out a slew of other tasty ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
