Put some extra giving into Thanksgiving this year by helping hungry families get a holiday feast from the folks at Steel & Rye. The artisanal restaurant and bakery in Lower Mills is working with Milton Public Schools and The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester (BGCD) for their third annual Thanksgiving for our Community event, and they could use your support. Chef Brendan Joy and his team will be making complete Thanksgiving dinners for 125 families who experience food insecurity. Each meal box serves up to eight, so all-told they should be able to feed around 1,000 people with your contributions, which you can make here. Any extra funds raised will go directly to BGCD to help their families in other ways throughout this holiday season.
