Boston Chops DTX Returns

There’s about to be a lot more Boston Chops to love as the beloved steakhouse is reopening their Downtown Crossing location after shutting down in 2020 for the pandemic.

The newly refreshed space in the former 1890 Old Colony Trust Bank on Temple Place will be back on the radar starting Friday, November 11th, featuring an expanded offering with some old favorites and new additions thanks to Culinary Director Corey Carter. You can check out the menu here, which includes Japanese A5 Wagyu dumplings in lemongrass ginger broth, New Zealand herb-crusted rack of lamb with heirloom carrots and sage butternut squash, Instagrammable seafood towers, and of course all the award-winning steaks and chops you can handle (don’t forget the sides!). Downtown diners can also expect a well-curated drink program – similar to the one at the South End location, which is regularly on the Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence list.

The luxe dining room features floor-to-ceiling marble walls and vaulted ceilings, tufted leather seating, two bars, and a separate private lounge area inside the former bank vault that connects to the wine room. Find a table after work or get some steak frites before a show in the main dining room, or book a party for a group in one of three private event spaces. Regulars will also notice some lovely new accents and local art including mural work by Provincetown artist Joshua Wilmoth.

Boston Chops DTX will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 5:00 to 10:00pm; grab a reservation here or call 617.982.7130. Find out more about booking private events on the website or drop an email here.
