Parm Now Open in Copley

Back Bay diners can now fuel up on classic Italian eats with the opening of Parm on Dartmouth Street in Copley Place.

The newest venture from Major Food Group (the folks behind Contessa at The Newbury) is an all-scratch kitchen that is all about homestyle Italian comfort food, including their namesake chicken and eggplant parmesans, mozzarella sticks, chicken milanese, shrimp piccata, fusilli bolognese, and piles of homemade meatballs and spaghetti. The food is rounded out with an approachable drinks lineup, featuring glasses of Pinot Bianco, Montepulciano and Chianti, plus classic Aperol spritz and negroni cocktails, and New England beers and ciders (think: Night Shift, Cold Harbor).

Parm is a chef-driven concept that started in New York City’s Little Italy by chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi in partnership with restaurateur Jeff Zalaznick. In addition to the Copley Place location, other outposts can be found all around NYC (Brooklyn, Battery Park, Woodbury Commons and the Upper West Side), as well as their first Massachusetts location, which opened in Burlington in April 2022.

The dining room, which seats 85 including the patio, was designed by Garrett Singer Architecture and Design, and features an updated Little Italy look with rich green leather booths, light oak, and mint green furniture, with vintage details throughout. The modern bar sits in the center of the room and upcycled tomato-can planters are sprinkled throughout the room, giving it a fresh yet homey feel.

Parm Copley is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner (dine in or take out) from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Check them out on Instagram and Facebook for lots of mozzarella and pasta pics, and make a reservation here or call 617.751.1113.
