Try Erin Miller’s Award-Winning Cape Ann Tide Pool

Urban Hearth

Urban Hearth‘s Erin Miller recently took top honors at the Great American Seafood Cook-Off in New Orleans – now, she’s bringing the crown, and her award-winning dish, the Cape Ann Tide Pool, home to share with her friends up north.

Book a table at the cozy Cambridge spot between Tuesday, September 6th and Friday, September 9th to meet the newly anointed Queen of Seafood and try the Cape Ann Tide Pool for yourself. Using a variety of textures and techniques as well as contrasting temperatures, the blue ribbon dish features butter-poached lobster tail, scallops and oysters atop a silky scallop and sweet corn custard in a rosehip-infused shellfish broth with sea beans, quick-pickled wild blueberry and capers garnish, and savory squid ink coral cracker.

Miller, going up against chefs from across the country, was the first woman to win the competition and the first chef to win for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Celebrate all these firsts and enjoy the flavors (and lots of coastal foraged goodies) from the North Shore. Urban Hearth is open from 5:00 to 10:00pm; make a reservation here or by calling 617.682.7295.
