Restaurant Week Newcomers

Restaurant Week Boston (also known as Dine Out Boston) starts this weekend – if you’re looking to narrow your focus as you map out which restaurants to hit during the two-week-long promotion, be sure to add a few of these first-time participants to your must-try list.

You can satisfy craving for sushi at South Boston’s Purple Shell; pretend like you’re in Paris at Brasserie in the South End; or feast on Italian eats at Serafina’s newest outpost in the Seaport; or check out the Libertine in the heart of the North End.

Head to Cambridge to check out the Hyatt’s new riverside spot, Paperback Tavern; enjoy your meal overlooking the Rose Kennedy Greenway from the dining room at Rose Town & Kitchen; or dine by the pool at Lifted Pool Bar at the Omni Boston Hotel.

If it’s been a while since you’ve popped into longtime faves like Game On! and Trophy Room, now’s the time to revisit – both longtime faves are participating in Restaurant Week for the first time. Or you can consider this your nudge to check out chef Michael Serpa’s new spots – both Atlantico, his seafood-focused South End spot, and Grand Tour, his Parisian bistro on Newbury Street, are making their Restaurant Week debuts.
