Lunch, Brunch, Dinner or Drinks with the Pharaoh

Jack's Abby

Quench your thirst for history with a trip through King Tut’s tomb right in the South End — and quench your thirst with a special brew from Jack’s Abby at Brasserie while you’re there! Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience is now open at the SOWA Power Station, which takes you on a tour of Egypt from modern times through the 18th dynasty (3,000 years ago!) when King Tut ruled. Conveniently, Brasserie is just a few steps away, so you can take a side quest from your journey for some of chef Nick Intonti’s French fare and a cold King Tut’s Gold Pilsner from Jack’s Abby, which was brewed in limited production to celebrate the opening of the experience. The show runs through October 2nd, and you can book tickets Sunday-Thursday from 10:00am to 8:00pm and Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 9:00pm. The tour takes about an hour, so book a table for brunch, lunch or dinner either before or after your trip through the nine distinctive Egyptian galleries depending on how hungry (and thirsty) you are. Make a reservation here, order tickets for King Tut: The Immersive Experience here, and follow the official Instagram of the event for updates on all the Summer of Ra-related goings on in the city.
