Tour de Rose Gets Underway at Bistro du Midi

Bistro du Midi, the Back Bay’s only French bistro overlooking the Public Garden, is once again your go-to summer destination for all things pink (well, wine mostly) with the start of their annual Tour de Rosé, which starts on Friday, June 3rd. Chef Robert Sisca and Sommelier Andrew Thompson have put together a globe-trotting line-up of rosy-hued sips to see you through ‘til September.

Each month, they’ll roll out featured selections from France, the States and Italy, wrapping up with a TBA collection of Tour’s favorites – all available by the glass, half glass and bottle. Of course (of course!), there’ll be seasonal specials from the kitchen to accompany the highlighted wines so you definitely won’t go hungry. Look for small plates like Ora King Salmon Rillettes made with smoked and cured salmon, crème fraiche, chives and sea salt on crostini, and Soft Shell Crab with chorizo, rhubarb, spring peas, pea tendrils and saffron.

Consult the schedule below to see what’s coming ‘round the bend and book a table online here (you can always try to trade up for a spot on the patio if weather and space allow). Call 617.279.8000 with any questions or for additional information.
