Award season is here and it’s a big day for chefs around the world and a few stellar spots in Boston — the James Beard Foundation has narrowed down their long list of contenders for 2022 (with the winners being announced Monday, June 13th). A few familiar names and faces have made the cut for regional categories, including chef-owner Tiffani Faison of Orfano who’s in the running for Best Chef: Northeast, as well as nation-wide honors including Somerville’s Rebel Rebel which could take home the award for Outstanding Wine Program.
