Downtown’s much-anticipated High Street Place is officially opening their doors to the public on Wednesday, March 2nd. Nestled at 100 High Street, the former office atrium has been transformed into a modern, 20,000 square foot Art Deco food hall complete with communal tables, cozy leather banquettes, high tops, fresh white subway tiles, brass sconces, custom stone and marble work and art, with a five-story green wall illuminated by firefly-like twinkling lights. And for the warmer days, the retractable windows open to an outdoor patio.

The new and improved space has 20 mouthwatering vendors, highlighting some of Boston’s renowned chefs, breweries, restaurants and cocktail experts. Some of the restaurants include one of Boston’s favorite modern era Jewish delicatessens — Mamaleh’s, with their signature pastries, hand-rolled bagels, pastrami and schmear. And what you can’t get at Mamaleh’s, you can at Pennypacker’s, Boston’s go-to for all things porchetta and roasted meats. This family run business dishes up seasonally fresh soups, salads, sandos and house-made porchetta, an Italian specialty you can’t miss. You can also grab steaming bowls of “pho-men” soup from Asian-inspired Kutzu, juicy burgers from Wheelhouse, creative bevvies from Daiquiris & Daisies, juices and smoothies from Mother Juice, and donuts from the pros at Blackbird Doughnuts.

Among the lineup is extra good news for Tiffani Faison fans and foodie lovers of all things playful will love the three new eatery concepts from the Top Chef alum. The first is Dive Bar, a raw bar inspired by Southern Gulf traditions and classic Coastal New England. The second is a 13-seat Champagne leaning wine bar, Bubble Bath. The new spot blurs the line between highbrow and playful eats with gourmet hot dogs, popcorn, Chandon Champagne vending machine, and bespoke wine and spirit lockers for you to rent and store your favorite bottles for later or gift to a friend. And for those looking for old school pizza and subs, Tenderoni’s. This 70s and 80s throwback has all the craveable classic pies, along with hot and cold grindahs, hearty salads with vino and grab & go bottled beers.
