The second location of Beacon Hill’s modern steakhouse, Mooo…., opens today (Tuesday, February 15th) in the Fort Point/Seaport area. Expect the same exceptional dining experience now at 49 Melcher Street, thanks to Columbus Hospitality Group chef-owner Jamie Mammano (whose other restaurants include Mistral, Sorellina and Ostra) and executive chef Farouk Bazoune.
The new spot upholds the longstanding tradition of offering modern interpretations of classic dishes for a one-of-a-kind steakhouse experience. Bazoune, who has been the Executive Chef at the original Beacon Hill location also headed up culinary operations for the Strega Group. He’s known for bringing non-traditional flavors to classic steakhouse cuisine and focusing on fresh seafood, decadent dishes and prime cuts of meats.
The brick-walled dining room at the new Mooo is decked out in muted shades of sand and gray illuminated by oversized chandeliers that cast a warm glow and create a relaxed and sophisticated vibe. An extensive wine list, and three private dining rooms complete with cozy fireplaces and glittering chandeliers will make this your new go-to for an elegant night out.
The bar opens at 5pm Tuesdays through Saturdays and dining is available Tuesdays through Thursdays from 5:30-9:30pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30-10:30pm.
