Owner Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli welcomes a new chef to the kitchen at Alcove – the award-winning Charles Draghi is now at the helm of the West End spot. Draghi, who closed his well-loved Bay Village endeavor, erbaluce, in 2018 after a decade-long run, came up in some of the city’s top kitchens including L’Espalier, Harvest, Tangiers, Marcuccio’s and No. 9 Park. He brings his expertise (and, just as importantly, his carbonara) to the TD Garden-adjacent restaurant, known for its one-of-a-kind location overlooking the Charles and the Zakim Bridge. Expect to see his influence on the menu and to catch a glimpse of him in the dining room, too; he takes a holistic approach to hospitality. You can book a carbonara – erm, table – online here to say hello and check out the new offerings as he rolls them out.
