Will Gilson’s Geppetto Has Opened

Geppetto, the next project from Puritan & Co.‘s Will Gilson (his fourth overall and his third just at Cambridge Crossing), is officially accepting reservations for Friday, October 1st and beyond.

Hot on the heels of The Lexington (the approachable modern New England restaurant) and Café Beatrice (an all day café that opened just last year), Geppetto features a modern Italian menu centered around house-made pastas, shareable plates and family-style entrees (think chicken parm polpette, smoked short rib carpaccio, mushroom agnolotti and hand-cut pappardelle with wild boar bolognese).

Gilson has tapped Tony Susi (of Capo, Olives and Sage) to be Pasta Consigliere, and his pastry-making right-hand man Brian Mercury will be in charge of sweets. Puritan Group Beverage Director David Danforth has curated a list of  fun and unconventional Italian wines, rotating signature cocktails, an amaro program and more to accompany all the delicious Italian eats.

Geppetto will be open for dinner from 5:00-10:00pm Tuesdays through Saturdays. Make sure to keep an eye on The Lexington website for updates on the menu and Geppetto’s Instagram for more information or just go on and book a table and be among the first to check out his newest project.
