FRANK’s New England Rum

FRANK

Chef Frank McClelland has long been a big fan of Privateer Rum, using craft spirits from the Ipswich-based distillery in the cocktails at FRANK (and before that, L’Espalier). He recently teamed up with his North Shore neighbors to find a unique rum that fit the FRANK vibes. After tasting their way through a selection right from the cellar and consulting with the Privateer production team, they found one that was both smooth and vibrant as well as rich, deep, and uncompromising. They have dubbed it McClelland Reserve. Aged 2 years and 10 months in a single, charred, New American Oak cask, it’s delicious on its own with just a cube of ice or dressed up in a FRANK Manhattan. There are fewer than 200 bottles of this one-of-a-kind spirit and once it’s gone, it’s gone. Order a bottle online here ($80) for yourself, or have one shipped to the rum lover in your life — but do it quick, before all the rum’s gone.
