Haven’t had a chance to check out Para Maria, the new pop-up-in-residence on the patio at the Envoy Hotel? Make it a summer weekend priority. Para Maria (“for Maria” in Spanish) is a culinary tribute to chef Tatiana Pairot Rosana’s abuela (that’s grandmother in Spanish, just FYI) who helped her discover her love of food and passion for cooking.
The Latin-inspired menu features lots of Tacos (smoky chicken, mojo pork carnitas, crispy fish and more), as well as a whole section of Not Tacos, which includes a rotating ceviche selection, patatas bravas, elotes, and numerous nibbles including chips and guac or salsa and housemade tostones. With a wide array of cocktails and mocktails chef Rosana showcases creative pairings offering a chic-urban summer spot with a prime waterfront location.
Para Maria is open Thursday from 11:00am-10:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:00am-11:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am-10:00pm. It’s walk-in only so grab your family and a few besties and head to Seaport for a an afternoon or evening full of craft cocktails, Latin flavors and al fresco good times.
