Flour’s Virtual Bake Shops are Back

Flour Bakery + Cafe

Time to get your bake on because Flour’s Bake Shop series has returned with its spring line-up. These twenty-five-person Zoom sessions are the perfect way to learn Flour’s secret sauce from master pastry chef Samira Seibaa herself. Whether you’re looking for the perfect gift for Mother’s or Father’s Day or just want to learn the art of pastry from a much-celebrated Boston bakery, these classes will be fun, intimate and come with learning, guaranteed.

Each one is $70, and with a ticket, participants receive the exclusive zoom access link, a shopping list and recipe card prior to the event date. Think a buttery, slightly peach-tangy Summer Crostata or extra Sticky Sticky Buns (as they’ve coined it). There’s even a Strawberry Chiffon Cake-making class, which will be perfect to up your decorating skills, and savory/sweet combos, perfect for date night.

And don’t worry, Flour has thought of everyone in their class-list, with offerings for gluten-free-ers and kids alike. Already on your pastry A-game and could fly through any tutorial on this list? Good thing Flour is also offering multi-day workshops for twelve skilled home-bakers. Try their chocolate confections three-day workshop or their cake-intensive on four saturdays during the month of June (just know that these classes cost a bit more, priced at $250 and $295 respectively). Head to Flour’s online store ASAP before the classes sell-out, and they will, because with the help of Seibaa, baking will be easy as…well…pie!
