St. Patrick’s Day Plates from the Summer Shack

Summer Shack

As has become the annual tradition at the Summer Shack, chef-owner Jasper White turns his attention from seafood (just for a sec) to roll out his Saint Patrick’s Day boiled dinner special. Complete with all the holiday-appropriate accoutrements (boiled potatoes, cabbage and parsnips as well as beets, carrots and rutabaga), the plate’s meaty main event is the fork-tender, ten-day-house-brined corned beef. Available for on-site dining or take-out, the celebratory dish costs just $25 (a small price to pay to avoid filling the house with the scent of boiled cabbage). Dine out or order in as you see fit (reservations here or take-out here) and have a joyous (and delicious) St. Patrick’s Day.
