Geppetto, the third (and final) concept in Will Gilson’s trio of Cambridge Crossing restaurants, is slated to open for take-out and delivery on Thursday, January 14th. Sister restaurant to already-up-and-running siblings/neighbors Café Beatrice and The Lexington, Geppetto will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00-8:00pm with a menu of Italian classics – pizza, pasta, soups, sandwiches and the like – from Gilson and pastry chef/baker/expert pizza dough maker Brian Mercury. The pair have brought their formidable talent to bear on favorites like Sicilian ‘za (available by the quarter or half pan), shrimp scampi, kitchen sink lasagna, tortellini soup, and chicken parm and braised pork sandwiches. Scope out the debut menu below – you can even go ahead and pre-order for pick-up or delivery if you live within range of 100 North First Street – consider it a sneak peek or an early taste of what’s to come when the restaurant opens for full service dining in the spring.
