You’ll hear from Larry Andrews, President and CEO of the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation, the organization in charge of administering $668 million in grant funds to help distressed businesses across the state. You’ll learn about the program, how to apply for funds, and get questions answered.
Applications are DUE by January 15th.
With MRU’s backing, the Massachusetts government has taken recent steps to aid independent restaurants. The legislature passed an Economic Development Bill which includes a statewide cap of 15% on the food delivery fees charged to independent restaurants and a new $20 million fund to support distressed restaurants, provisions long sought by MRU.
This financial support comes in addition of the sector specific grants for which restaurants are now eligible to apply. Please join the MRU on Monday to be sure you know how to apply for these funds for independent restaurants.
