The team at Island Creek Oyster Bar in Burlington has taken their love of tacos to the next level with their new passion project, La Ventana. Inspired by Mexico City’s taquerias, this creative concept is a delicious collaboration from chefs Jeremy Sewall, Nicki Hobson and Isaac Reyes, featuring a curated, “semi-authentic” menu for take-out and delivery.
Whether you’re picking up or getting delivery, you can choose from an array of tacos (three per order, on corn tortillas) stuffed with goodies like smoked chipotle chicken, queso fresco and cilantro, charred sirloin with guacamole, roasted peppers and salsa verge, and lobster tostadas with avocado, mango and lime. And don’t worry, queso- and quac-lovers, there are sides of both for you to dip chips or pour over your tacos — no judgement here.

La Ventana is open Wednesday & Thursday from 5:00-9:00pm, Friday from 5:00-10:00pm, Saturday from 4:00-10:00pm and Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm.
