Shore Leave Launches The Life Raft

Legendary barman Ryan Lotz and the team behind Shore Leave have launched a seasonal outdoor tiki pop-up, The Life Raft. Located at the South End restaurant’s Harrison Ave entrance, The Life Raft offers cocktail favorites from the Shore Leave menu, canned beverages and an assortment of snacks from chef-owner Colin Lynch (best not to tiki on an empty stomach). Consult the forecast and swing by on an upcoming Thursday between 5:00 and 10:00pm or Friday between 5:00 and 11:00pm. Our Shore Leave Cocktail
Our namesake cocktail is a marriage of some of our favorite tropical flavors with ingredients traditionally connected to Boston’s culinary and beverage history. We mix flavorful White Rum from our friends at Privateer in Ipswich, Massachusetts with Plantation Xaymaca Extra Dry. We shake these two spirits with passionfruit and lime for brightness, aromatic bitters for warm spice, and round everything out with molasses and a dram of Madeira.
