Chef Alex Horowitz and his crew at The Porch are ready to help you take your al fresco dining up a notch (or a few notches, really) with a bunch of new picnic options available for pick-up. The folks at the Medford bbq joint have created baskets that are suitable for families, friends and/or couples with their delicious ‘que serving as the focal point around which you can customize your ideal outdoor meal with wine, beer, buy-your-own booze or no booze.
The packages vary in price though they all come with a blanket and coozies, which you can keep. And they’re all available for online ordering Saturday and Sunday from 12:00-8:00pm and Monday-Friday from 4:00-8:00pm. You can take them to a location of your choosing or plunk down on the Great Lawn at River’s Edge Park (just be sure you’re far enough away from anyone else who had the same idea).
