Wine
NV El Xamfrà ‘Brut’ Cava $12.00
Classic Spanish sparkling wine made in the same method as Champagne. Bone dry with notes of citrus, green apples, with a creamy mousse.

NV Domaine Arnaud Lambert ‘Crémant de Loire Brézé Rosé’ $24.00
Another sparkling wine, but this one is pink and French. This wine is made in a similar way to champagne, so you can expect that fuller creamier mouthfeel. This wine expresses red fruit with a floral lift.

’17 Paul Direder Grüner Veltliner $18.00
This winery goes back to the mid 19th century and has been producing quality wine since then. Completely dry, with fresh apple, pear and citrus fruits. The palate gets a little more tropical with some pineapple and ginger from a touch of bottle age. Please note that this is a full liter bottle.

’17 Adega Entre os Ríos ‘Saras’ $24.00
Albariño can vary widely, even within the region so closely associated with this varietal. This wine has a little more body and texture due to a touch of skin contact as well as a full malolactic conversion. Lots of stone fruit, think peach and apricot, with a perfumed note gives the wine a fuller and rounder mouthfeel.

’18 Bodegas Hermanos Peciña Rosé $20.00
A very classic Rioja producer who champions traditional winemaking and extended aging of its wines. Their rosé is made with wines sourced from vines planted in the 1990s at about 2000 feet above sea level. The elevation gives the cooling influence necessary to maintain acidity for a balanced and lively rosé. Grapes were hand harvested and macerated on skins for 12 hours before pressing.

’16 Rafael Tirado ‘Vistalago Mezcla Tinta’ $28.00
Chile is an amazing source of excellent wine being produced in environmentally conscience ways. High elevation, about 1800 feet, adds a cooling effect which is important to maintain grapes, especially red grapes, acidity in relation to its ‘fruitiness.’ The wine was fermented in concrete vats with natural yeasts, and then aged in 2nd and 3rd use French oak barrels for 12 months. Basically, what that means is that you have a ‘fruity’ wine (strawberries, raspberries, red apples) with undertones of spice (cinnamon, clove). Excellent wine for anyone who likes rich, fully bodied wines, with firm tannins.

’19 Laurent Family ‘Corrupto’ $18.00
Produced notable biodynamic Bordeaux winemaker Gerard Laurent. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, this wine expresses varietal characteristics without any oak masks. Pure cassis and mint. Very fruit forward, with a reduced level of body and tannin you may be expecting from Cabernet Sauvignon
