Belmont’s go-to for baked goods and scratch-made comfort foods, Vicki Lee’s, is back with take-out lunch and dinner menus as well as a whole array of cakes, pastries, cookies, breads and pies. Available from Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30am-4:30pm, the menus include ready-to-eat sandwiches, bowls, soups and salads at lunch and more substantial heat-at-home entrees at dinner. There are also gifts, candies, non-alcoholic beverages and grocery items like flour, sugar, oats and chocolate if you feel like doing some baking at home – go for the Baker’s Box for everything you need (including the recipe) to whip up a batch of chocolate chip cookies.
You can place your order for pick-up online through the Vicki Lee’s website or by calling 617.489.5007. You’ll be able to design your ideal meal, schedule your pick-up time and pay for your food (credit cards only) all in one fell swoop. Once you’ve nailed down the details, all you have to do is pop up at their front door (on Trapelo Road) at your appointed time with your mask on and your well-honed social-distancing skills. They’ll grab your order and you can just head on home.
