Cafe du Pays Becomes Vincent’s Grocery

Café du Pays’ spot on Cardinal Medeiros Ave has a long and storied history. Since the building’s original 1894 construction, it’s been (among other things) a bodega, a gentlemen’s bar, a speakeasy, two beloved restaurants and a grocery store called Vincent’s Corner Grocery.

Taking their cues from this previous incarnation, the team at the Cambridge restaurant is taking a break from making their signature French Canadian fare and turning their lounge area into Vincent’s Grocery. The online shop will have beer and wine, fresh fruits and veggies, meat, fish, pantry items and lots more (seriously – so much more – everything from body wash to second-hand books and records). You can stay well-stocked while shopping local and skipping the trip to the grocery store – it’s a win/win/win.

Peruse all your options online here and get ready to place your order to scoop up within 30 minutes or at a time of your choosing. They’ll have contactless pick-up right from their front door from 11:00am to 6:00pm.
