The award-winning chef-owner of Blue Dragon (and cookbook author and host of WGBH’s Simply Ming) is channeling some of his (seemingly boundless) energy and talent into these live demos in his at home kitchen. He’s already done two (pantry noodle soup and lamb pot pie); this time around, he’s revisiting a childhood favorite — tomato soup and grilled cheese (tho, this is Ming Tsai we’re talking about so it’s not your basic soup-and-sandwich combo). He’s posted a shopping list if you want to try to cook along but even if you don’t, tune in to watch a pro in action (and see which family members he ropes in as his sous chefs). You’ll be able to ask questions in real time and cheer him on while you learn a thing or two.
