Take-Out, Now with Beer & Wine

Restaurants are now allowed to sell beer and wine with their take-out and delivery orders, thanks to a bill signed by Governor Charlie Baker. There are limits – you have to be 21+ (and delivery drivers will be asking for proof of age), sales must be placed within the hours of the establishment’s original license (which shouldn’t be an issue since most restaurants have shifted their hours to earlier in the evening anyway) and customers are limited to 192 ounces of malt beverages (which translates to 16 beers) and 1.5 liters of wine (which is the equivalent of 2 bottles – or one magnum if you want to go big and go home). See what kind of beverages you can add to your order at spots that are already offering take-out and delivery here.
