Per Governor Charlie Baker’s press conference on Sunday, March 15th, all Massachusetts restaurants and bars are mandated to suspend all on-premise consumption from Tuesday, March 17th through Monday April 6th [Correction: Governor Baker originally misstated the date on which during restaurants will be able to re-open as April 17th]. Schools and restaurants can reopen fully on April 6, according to the governor’s office.. They’re still allowed to offer take-out and delivery though so you won’t go hungry (or have to eat your own cooking indefinitely). We’ve got rundowns of our favorite spots offering delivery via Caviar, GrubHub, Door Dash and Uber Eats launching shortly so definitely check back. In the meantime, consider lending your support to the restaurants that you know and love by buying gift certificates so they can weather this storm and re-open once the dust has settled.
