Bar Boulud Facebook

It’s the Year of the Rat and if you were born in 2008, 1996, 1984, 1972, 1960, 1948, 1936 or 1924, then you can snag yourself a freebie app or dessert from the folks at Bar Boulud. Stop into the French-inspired bistro right along Boylston Street between Friday, January 24th and Thursday, February 13th to claim your prize — just be sure to bring proper ID.

For those who have a different Chinese zodiac sign but still want to celebrate the Chinese New Year, you’re in luck. The bar team is mixing up a signature sipper called “Good Fortune” with Bulleit rye, bitters, sugar and brandied cherry, while the kitchen team is prepping a prix fixe menu — available Friday, January 24th through Sunday, January 26th. Dish details are below, and you can make a reservation by calling 617.535,8800 or shoot an email over to barbouludboston@mohg.com.
