Calling all foodies and movie buffs: you don’t have to argue over dates anymore. Leave the outside snacks at home and head to Showplace Icon Theater in the Seaport for their Chef Popcorn Menu, a lineup of specialty popcorn flavors created by some of Boston’s best chefs. This month, come try Bacon, Cheddar, and Sour Cream Popcorn from Chef Michael Schlow (of Tico, Loretta Taverna, and Alta Strada). And keep your eyes on those Oscar nominations, because there are more crunchy flavors in store this winter, including Ramen from Chef Jamie Bissonnette, Cheesy Garlic Bread from Chef Tiffani Faison, and Spicy Ranch popcorn from Chef Mary Dumont.
